# 402 Wheeler House

165 Wheeler Place, Copper Mountain, CO

Wheeler House is a modern, well constructed building with an excellent location next to the new six passenger, high speed chair at Copper Mountain. This is a very open and spacious three bedroom penthouse condo.  It has a large, open living room with a cathedral ceiling.  It has an excellent kitchen with two ovens and plenty of storage. There is an upstairs patio (Summer use only) with views of the magnificent Ten Mile Range.  Off the living room is a full length, glassed in porch with views of the ski slopes and golf course.  In the comfortable and cozy living room is a gas burning automatic fireplace.  The decor is Western with hunting trophies adorning the walls, reflecting the tastes of the owners.

402 Wheeler House was originally the home of Chuck and Penny Lewis and their family.  Chuck was the founder and first President of Copper Mountain.

Wheeler House is approximately one hundred (100) yards to the Super Bee  six passenger high speed chair lift in Winter and the same distance to the clubhouse and first tee of the golf course in Summer.  The new high speed lift, the first of its kind in North America, transports passengers to the summit of Copper Mountain in just 8 minutes.  In addition, the B Lift area has excellent restaurants and fun bars.

The entire Copper Mountain Resort is served by the free Copper Mountain Transit System.

There is an underground parking area that contains one assigned, heated parking space per condo.  An elevator operates from the parking area to the lobby and each floor.  There is a laundry room for the building next to the elevator.  402 has its own laundry.

A closet for ski storage is located in the hallway next to the condo entrance on the fourth floor.

The room layout is as follows:

Item Special Note

Guests who recently visited Copper Mountain and stayed in Al's condo, said the following about their experience:

"My son and I skied 4 days and two of those days were skiing through fresh powder, which is ultimately all I really wanted to do. We fell in love with Copper Mountain and I am seriously hoping to plan a return trip at some point in my life."--Greg Lull '83

"Copper Mountain is the best mountain we have ever skied.”  --Helmut and Lise Bacher, Linz, Austria.

"We are all life-long experienced skiers, and we absolutely loved Copper Mountain.  The resort has everything you need right there (including restaurants and shops), no car is needed, and there are plenty of slopes for all experience levels of skiers as well as snowboarders.  The condo's location is phenomenal!  We walked past only 2 condo buildings to get onto the new high-speed chair lift to the top of the mountain.  Lugging skis and boots back and forth was not a problem. We loved it."-- Sally Nork Herod '76

Condo available at a mutually agreed upon time. Not available at Christmas or in March. Expires April 5, 2013.
