Item Description
With the SFWC Director of Clinical Operations, Dr. Stefan Harsh.
See what it’s like to be a wildlife veterinarian! Our very own Dr. Stefan Harsch, Director of Clinic Operations, will take you on a very special visit to our hospital.
The winner of this item gets to shadow and observe the daily work of Dr. Harsch. What will you see? We never know!
A wildlife vet’s day may include:

- Checking in on sick wildlife,
- Making sure healthy animals are ready to be released,
- Performing procedures like drawing blood, or taking x-rays,
- Giving medications to sick animals,
- Performing surgery,
- … and anything else our wildlife patients may need while in our hospital.
What kind of animals might you see?
Turtles, Anhingas, Egrets, Herons, Raccoons, Opossums, Hawks, Songbirds, Squirrels, Lizards, Wood Storks, and any other species that may need our help.
