- Watch a bucket truck lift our rescue crew to get to an animal that climbed high into a tree or onto a building,
- Climb over rocks and boulders to get to a hiding animal that has be injured,
- Crawl into small spaces to get to the patient,
- Use large nets to catch an injured animal,
- Provide emergency medical care to an injured animal.
What animals do we rescue? Turtles, Anhingas, Egrets, Herons, Raccoons, Opossums, Hawks, Songbirds, Squirrels, Wood Storks, and any other species that may need our help.
After the animals are rescued, they are brought back to our hospital in Ft Lauderdale, where our vet staff takes over their care.
