After the Storm. 2009 charcoal, pastel on paper 11.5" x 14.13". Born in upstate New York, Chicago-based artist Marilyn Propp (BA University of Pennsylvania, MA University of Missouri-Kansas City) attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Brooklyn Museum Art School, Provincetown Workshop, and the San Francisco Art Institute. She is adjunct faculty in the Art + Design Department at Columbia College Chicago, and is co-founder of Anchor Graphics.
