Item Description
A one-hour private tai chi lesson in a studio on the Upper West Side in the 90s, NYC.
Tai Chi, often referred to as moving meditation, involves performing a series of relaxing, graceful movements. Its many benefits include increasing flexibility, balance, overall strength and promoting a sense of inner peace. It has been proven to help with many conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, arthritis, chronic pain, anxiety, and digestive problems by relieving stress and calming the nervous system. Tai Chi awakens your mind/body connection while moving the energy (chi) in the body, essential to maintaining overall health. The medical field is now recognizing the value of this age old practice.
