Item Description
On a lonely rock off the Oregon coast, Tillamook Rock Light stands as an enduring symbol of man's struggle with the sea. Construction of the sentinel in 1880 was one of the greatest lighthouse engineering feats ever attempted. For keepers, it was one of the toughest assignments in the Lighthouse Service.
