Our farm is located in the heart of Prairie Crossing, a nationally recognized conservation community in Grayslake, Illinois. We began farming in Southern Wisconsin in the spring of 2000 with little more than a pitchfork and a wheelbarrow. With the help of friends and family, Sandhill Organics has become a successful family farm operating on just over 40 acres. In 2004, we moved our farm operation to Prairie Crossing, just 40 miles northwest of Chicago. We grow a wide range of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Our farm is certified organic by Midwest Organic Services Association.
