Item Description
Two hand-painted, original Wedgewood china plates. Both plates measure 9” in diameter and have ‘WEDGWOOD” stamped on the bottom in small block letters. The set features an intricate background of overlapping and interlocking black and white grids. Contrasting with this rigid geometric pattern are the organic flowers, leaves, birds, and moths, painted in incredible detail over the grids. These forms pop against the black and white background in bright solid shades of red, magenta, yellow, green and sky blue. The items’ rims stand out as well, lined in a gorgeous deep red. These matching plates will be a beautiful addition to your china set.
