Item Description

Relax! You'll have three blissful nights and four days at a Tybee Island Beach House in Tybee Island, Georgia. The house is a five minute walk to the beach and sleeps six comfortably.

There are three bedrooms in the house. Two bedrooms have full size beds, the third room has a queen size bed. There are also two bathrooms in the house, one in the hallway and one attached to the master bedroom.

Tybee Island is an easily accessible barrier island located just 18 miles away from the Hostess City of the South, historic Savannah, Georgia. Savannah’s Beach is an amazing tourist destination that has something to offer every vacationer. Rich in both history and natural beauty, Tybee Island is also famous for its diverse cuisine, excellent accommodations, and a variety of exciting recreational activities. Even Paula Deen, who is internationally recognized for her delicious and innovative Southern cooking, has her very own vacation house on Tybee Island available for rental.

Children and adults alike will enjoy exploring the island’s three miles of uninterrupted public beach. The salt marshes are teeming with birds and wildlife unique to south eastern Georgia’s coast. If you enjoy fishing you will be happy to find that Tybee has many different options for you! There are fishing piers, off shore and deep sea charters, or you can fish right in the surf!

Dining out when you are staying on Savannah’s Beach is truly a pleasure! With over 25 restaurants to choose from you won’t have to worry about finding something you like. Seafood lovers are in luck as many places offer “catch of the day” specials. Be sure to try some Fresh Caught Wild Georgia Shrimp, you won’t be disappointed!

Nightlife on Tybee is casual and fun. Many of the bars have live music more nights than not and you will surely meet some colorful, local characters you won’t soon forget! If you care to take your cocktail to the beach, no problem! Just be sure to put it in a plastic cup before going on your midnight stroll.

And if shopping for unusual and one of a kind items is your forte, you will appreciate the fact that Tybee is home to several talented and imaginative artists. Many of them own unique shops and galleries where you can purchase their remarkable jewelry, paintings, gifts, and more.

So kick off your shoes, put your toes in the sand, and let the ocean breezes carry your worries away.
