Item Description

Ms. Tatyrza's students in the blue room were brimming with colorful ideas for our auction project, quite literally! We chose recycled crayons as our inspiration and art medium. We have carefully crafted four lovely Crayon Art products. Our first piece is of a beautiful crayon collage of a starlit tree. A variety of greens, blues, browns, and even yellow for twinkling stars were used to create the students’ vision. For our other 3 pieces, a heat gun and canvases were required! Students came up with three different representations of our natural world: rainbow, rain, and flowers. They chose a crayon color scheme and pattern that would best represent each piece. We then hot glued the crayons to the canvases, and then attacked each canvas with a heat gun! The result: beautifully drizzled crayon with three different perspectives. Students then came up with a word that best represented their particular piece. We have DOWNPOUR, GROW, and IMAGINE.
