Item Description

Ranked 5th in 2007 by Condé Nast Traveler on their "World's 30 Best Island Beaches" list, Ocracoke is a magical and beautiful place where relaxing leads to rejuvenation of the soul.  Often referred to as "The Pearl of the Outer Banks," Ocracoke Island is located at the southern end of Cape Hatteras National Seashore, part of North Carolina's Outer Banks.  Famous for its relaxed, laid-back lifestyle, the 16-mile-long island is accessible only by boat or private plane or by one of the three state ferry routes, including the 40-minute free ferry from Hatteras Island.  Located on a secluded dead end road, "Up the Creek" is a comfortable and cozy home with lots of privacy!  The reverse floor plan with bedrooms on the first floor and living area on the second floor allow for viewing the South Gut Canal and surrounding marsh - a sight to behold!  Two full baths are located on first floor and a half bath is located on the second floor.  Most dogs are welcome.
