Enjoy a delicious cheesecake made by local chef, Katie Webster.

Notes from Katie:

I earned a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College in 1997 and an AOS in Culinary Arts from the New England Culinary Institute in 2001. I am a free-lance recipe developer, food and prop stylist, food writer and blogger specializing in healthy, seasonal cuisine.

I have been a recipe developer and food stylist for EatingWell Magazine since 2002. As a member of their famed test kitchen team I have developed recipes and made the food "look pretty" for the magazine and online content. I have also had a hand in recipes and styling for eleven of the EatingWell cookbooks, including James Beard Award winner, The Simple Art of EatingWell.
Now as a free-lancer I continue my work for them as a stylist and regular recipe contributor. I have also written recipes for www.AskMissA.com and Parents Magazine. I am currently excited about my new gig as a stylist for Lake Champlain Chocolates.
I am an avid gardener, love hiking and cross-country skiing and spending time with my husband and two daughters in Richmond, Vermont.

The winning bidder may choose a Pumpkin Cheesecake with Walnut Gingersnap Crust or a Peppermint Patty Cheesecake. Both are made using healthier lower fat ingredients. The winner will contact Katie directly to arrange a time for her to make the cheesecake fresh. Delivery is available within a reasonable distance of the Burlington area.
