UNLESSThe Lorax stood on the tree stump and said,"So you think you need a thneed.My friend, take heed.These plastic thing-a-ma-jigs litter our beaches.They make the landfill as high as it reaches."Mrs. Kulbeda's first and second graders listened,Then made a collage around where the Lorax stood.They reused plastic caps, paint and some wood.He smiled at them, cuz they knew what that one single word meant.Then off the Lorax went.
