Visit Holistic Harmony Massage for a therapeutic massage that is sure to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Take a look at the variety of massages available.

Swedish Massage–  type of massage designed to relieve stress & muscular tension, increase circulation, and increase range of motion

Deep Tissue Massage– utilizing more pressure to help relieve ischemic (knotted) soft tissue

Neuromuscular Therapy  (NMT)– using static pressure on specific myofacial points to relieve pain.

Sometimes these painful areas are trigger points, which commonly refer pain to other parts of the body.  Sometimes they are simply knots of tissue, which are called ischemic areas, which is defined as lack of blood supply.  Massage therapy returns blood to these condensed tissue areas to reduce pain and increase range of motion.

NMT is useful in correcting postural distortions, biomechanical dysfunction (faulty movement patterns) and releasing areas of nerve compression or entrapment by soft tissue.

Neuromuscular Therapy is often referred to as one of the following: Trigger Point Release, Clinical Massage or Therapeutic Massage.

Sports Massage– combining different types of massage such as deep tissue, NMT, cross-fiber friction, or myofacial release before or after workouts to promote healing post injury and enhance performance

Myofacial Release - a safe and very effective technique applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion

Postural Analysis – evaluating a client’s bony landmarks to determine postural and physical

incongruencies. This helps determine areas to treat during the massage session
