Item Description
For this year's auction project, the children in Mrs. Gunden's class created a pair of diptych scenes using acrylic paint on canvas. These paintings are meant to be hung as a pair, and represent Aspen trees soaring into the sky. The children used foam rollers, brushes, and pallet knives to create the paintings, and began by rolling a dark gray background color onto both canvases, adding the tree trucks with pallet knives and foam brushes, and finished by creating the leaves with pallet knives.
