Item Description
This beautiful fly was tied by classic freestyle tier Thomas Herr using materials such as silk floss, silver wire, tinsel, and dyed goose feathers. The hook has been powder-coated pink. It has been professionally framed and matted using museum-quality glass and matting to preserve the work.
Thomas has been creating flies and artwork for the past 40 years and has displayed his work in various locations within the United States. A member of the Fly Dressers Guild located in the UK, he has won numerous awards for his tying ability. Having fished for various species across the United States including Alaska, his love of fly fishing and spending time at his tying bench in southeastern Pennsylvania is something that has been with him his entire life.
