Item Description
This bell-shaped plaque has wooden back with wall hanger on top. The plaque is painted in gold with the image of the Crucifix of Santa Croce by the late 13th-century Florentine painter Cimabue (Chim-a-BOO-ay). He (c. 1240 – c. 1302) is generally regarded as the last great Italian painter working in the Byzantine tradition. Measures 6 x 8 inches tall.
