Have a green and fun birthday party for your kids in the Woodland at Audubon Center at Debs Park and serve $75 worth of delicious pizza from nearby Walden family owned Folliero's Italian Food and Pizza, a local tradition since 1968 in Highland Park. Rental is limited to 20 kids and 10 adults and are good for one four hour block either from 9am-1pm or 12pm-4pm.
The Audubon Center at Debs Park opened in 2003 as an environmental education and conservation center for the communities of northeast Los Angeles. The Center is located in the fourth largest park in the city of Los Angeles. More than half of the park is covered in walnut-oak woodland, grassland, and coastal sage scrub, a remnant of the native habitats that once rimmed the Los Angeles Basin. Over 140 species of birds have been recorded here. The Audubon Center is one of the most sustainable buildings in the country. The actual building is constructed of recycled materials and rapidly renewable building products. All power and air conditioning is provided by the sun – they are totally off the grid. By having your child's birthday party here, you are doing a lot to help the environment!

Expires May 5, 2013. Audobon Center at Debs Park is open Tue- Saturday, 9am-5pm.
- Permittee is responsible for a refundable $100 security deposit, the set-up, tear down, and clean up of rented area including the surrounding areas.
- All event related materials must be sorted as either compost, recyclable materials, extra-recyclables, and trash. Debs Audobon Park provides desciption and bins.
- Smoking, fire, open flames, charcoal and gas grills, alcohol are not permitted on the Audubon Center grounds.
- No piñatas, balloons, rice, or confetti allowed nor may they be released into the air or on the grounds and no decorations may be affixed into or onto trees or vegetation.
Winning bidder must pick up items on May 9 or May 10, 2012, from 3:00 pm - 6:00pm from the Community Room at Walden School. Otherwise, shipping charges will be charged to the purchaser.
