Item Description
SILENT----Painting by Brookwood's own Visual Arts coordinator and beloved art teacher, Kathy Stewart. An expressive portrayal of magnolia blossoms in shades of yellow, green, violet and blue, this exquisite 20x24 acrylic painting will command attention in any room. Artistically formatted with the image wrapping around the canvas, this piece may be hung as is or with the addition of a frame.
Kathy's inspiration to paint these rare, yellow magnolias was sparked from photos of the same that she had taken during a gardening workshop last summer. In Chinese culture, the yellow magnolia symbolizes "feminine beauty" which strongly influenced Kathy's acrylic portrayal.
