Item Description
Deborah Carlson is a Colorado-based artist whose works and commissions are in permanent collections and appear in national museums, galleries, private residences and public installations. Her unique creations have won numerous awards in both major national fine glass and fine art shows. She studied under the world's finest glass masters in both the U.S. and Canada. Her entry, Celebration Mask, utilizes copper and gold leaf and intricately place glass beads to symbolize the celebration of life and its lessons offered in transition. Louann Miller, a longtime volunteer with The Denver Hospice, purchased it during the 2006 Mask Project and donated it to the 2012 Mask Project gallery.
