Andrea Crane of Golden is a mixed media artist who used various techniques to create sculptural books. She is known for her miniature drawing and use of altered paper. Andrew has shown at Foothills Art Center, Emmanuel Galley, The Center for Visual Arts and Abecedarian Gallery. Her mask represents a memory she had as a child. When she lived in Africa, her mother bought a book about butterflies. On the cover was a bright blue butterfly which she has crafted into a paper butterfly.
