Item Description

Erin Kornegay-Ring is a self-taught artist who's lifelong love of art and design inspired her to start her own company in Wilmington, NC in 1997.  Portfauxlio Design specializes in creating art that reflects a broad range of styles, techniques and mediums.

Inspiration:  It is said that butterflies are messengers of the moment, they alight upon for an instant but then flutter away the next.  Treasure every moment because everything change in the twinkle of an eye.  Her mask honors her Mother-In-Law, Jerry Ring, who passed away on April 20th 2011 after battling cancer.  Jerry's family is very grateful for the help that was given to them by Hospice.

Erin's husband, Geoffrey Ring and Jerry's son wrote the poem on the mask.

"When a butterfly flits and appears suddenly from above, it brings greetings from long lost souls we've loved."
