Item Description
Barbara Churchleys paintings reflect her personal connection with the western landscape she lives in. Her paintings in pastel and oil are interpretive and expressive. Her passion for the outdoors has taken her to the summit of all 53 ranked 14,000 peaks in Colorado and a few other unranked ones for fun. She is a signature member of International Plein Air Painters, Plein Air Artists of Colorado and Contemporary Fine Artists International. Her mask is Rima of Green Mansions by William H. Hudson. She was queen of her Amazonian jungle and lived without fear of the creatures in her kingdom. Shy and secretive with humans, she watches from behind a passion flower.
