When Sarah Anger painted her first mask, she had no connection to The Denver Hospice. In 2009, her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away. She says The Denver Hospice was there for her mom and her family every step of the way. She dedicates her mask to her mother. She is a veterinary student at Colorado State University with a passion for birds so Sarah painted a Catalina macaw on this years mask.
