Item Description
Oran, Rachel, Anthony and the folks at Timbalooloo are delighted to offer 10-weeks of class tuition (one 45-minute class per week) for one child who enrolls in a Timbalooloo group music class. The class can be a group formed by the winning parents or a group formed by other parents who agree to have the winning child as part of their group, and takes place weekly in the home of one of the children in the class or a rotation of homes. Class can be with Rachel, Anthony, Oran or any of the other Timbalooloo teachers, based on the parents' preference and scheduling availability of the Timbalooloo teachers. Timbalooloo is a unique new method of fostering "fluency in the language" of music through group music classes for all ages- from infants up through school age. It is created by Grammy Award winning musician and composer, and our very own music teacher at WMS, Oran Etkin; and has gained popularity in New York, Los Angeles and Paris. The children learn about music from various cultures and about the instruments and great artists of each genre. After 4 years of age, children can take the "Growing Glockenspiel" class, in which each child gets an instrument to keep and they really learn how to read and write music and play songs. Item Special Note
Weekly time-slot for the 10-week semester to be scheduled based on availability of the Timbalooloo teacher and the group's schedule. Like all Timbalooloo classes, the group must have 6 or more children (free tuition offer extends only to the winning child). Expires in June 2013.
