Item Description
Barry Rothstein, a native of New York City, has made St. Petersburg his home for the past 20 years. He has studied Drawing, Art, Illustration, and Design at City University of New York, The Parsons School of Art and Design, School of Visual Arts, and The Fashion Institute of Technology (all in New York City), and locally, at the Arts Center of St. Petersburg. Barry’s unique color use can be attributed to his lack of seeing color. Through travel, he sees his next work of art; a photo is taken; and upon his return, he paints visions of memories, such as this piece "Central Park-Upper East Side." They are moments in his life that were worth capturing in beautiful pastels, with colors only he imagines, all in a 28" x 23" frame. This piece is only available through the Online Auction.
