A Special Design Service Gift Certificate

Do you find yourself at a crossroad and need help with space planning, style development, material selections, details, colors and finishes, furnishings, or whatever else pops up?

A Design Consultation is a one shot design meeting for creative ideas with no future commitment.

What do you get in a consultation session? We tour your whole home/property for construction, zoning, and space needs & interview you about your living patterns, needs/desires, & budget. When able, we do quick thumbnail sketches (not to scale) of possible solutions in floor plans and/or elevations on the spot. These loose sketches are left with you. A session usually lasts between 2 ½ to 3 hours.

Helpful hints to make best use of your consultation time: a list and/or images of your needs/desires/solution ideas; if available, a copy of your house plan and physical survey showing the site conditions: any deed covenants, unique code restrictions; and any neighborhood association guidelines.

About Us - Routh & Company

This firm is a hands-on green/sustainability focused design/build company offering complete architectural and interior design services.

Ken Routh and Annie Brudno are both graduates of the School of Architecture University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Ken received part of his architectural education in Denmark, Annie at Oxford.

Ken, whose internship with O’Neil Ford, arguably the most prominent architect to have come from Texas, influenced his love of superb craftsman ship and exacting detail. With 35 years of experience in residential and specialty projects of every budget from tiny to over the moon, Ken leads the architecture/construction team. Annie works on the projects as both an architectural designer and as an interior designer Annie has many years experience in residential design/build, and over 6 years teaching at the University of Texas Austin and other schools in interior design, environmental design, furniture and lighting design, and in materials and construction technology.

Annie also has a MBA in Sustainable Business and Routh & Company includes sustainable business consulting in our service offerings. For more than 30 years we have been helping people realize dreams that far exceed their expectations in new construction, remodeling and adaptive reuse, in Bespoke Architecture and Interior Design, Landscapes, Owner’s Representation, and in Building Performance. We deeply believe that everyone should have wonderful places to live, work, and play and we’d love to help you make great choices for your home and/or office.
