John Lee Hooker framed and matted color photo by Terry Abrahamson, signed and numbered by the photographer, #2/100. This photo depicts John Lee Hooker at The Record Plant in LA while recording a Levi's ad that Terry wrote for him in 1984. Photo measures 16" x 20", frame measures 20" x 24".
Chicago native, Terry Abrahamson won a Grammy writing songs for Muddy Waters, helped launch the career of George Thorogood, created the first radio commercial ever performed by John Lee Hooker, hung backstage with Willie Dixon and The Rolling Stones, and had his music produced by Johnny Winter. And he always had his camera.
His book of original Chicago Blues photos, "In the Belly of the Blues," is in the permanent collections of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale, MS.
