Item Description
Drink Local! Our award-winning Sun Valley Winemakers (Best in Show 2010, Gold Medal 2009 and a Silver Medal 2009 at the Marin County Fair) have gone to their cellars for a bottle of their finest wine.
This auction item includes three bottles of fabulous red wine, all made right here in Sun Valley, from our local winemakers;
- Jared Huffman's 2010 Amador County Barbera: Ripe Amador County fruit was used to make this delicious wine, with notes of plum and cherry. Well balanced and delicious, aged in french oak. Drink now.
- Phil's Folly 2010 Amador County Syrah: This full-colored Syrah features aromas and flavors of dark cherries and plums, with a hint of french oak. Will pair well with grilled meats. Ready to drink in 2012, best in 2013. Donated by Phil Sisson.
- Ken Reich's 2010 Sonoma County Syrah: Made with award winning Sonoma County fruit (some of it picked by Sun Valley first-grader Evan), this delicious wine was aged in French Oak for twelve months.
