Item Description
This Tang Dynasty horse is a stylized form of pottery common in China
during the Tang Dynasty. This particular piece is circa 1895 and is
marked by a wide body, a broad neck, a manicured mane, a naturalistic
pose, and remarkably expressive facial characteristics.
This Tang horse stands 13 inches tall, and is 12 inches long, mane
to tail. Made of cold cast resin, it is hand painted to give it the
look of terracotta, and shows wonderful detail. (size excludes stand / base)
