Item Description
Nurture your child's need to sing and dance with this package to participate in a Metropolitan Educational Theatre Network production. The package includes the workshop training fee, one show T-shirt and one special gift package. (certificate is valid for any production during the SPring 2012-Spring 2013 season; winner will be responsible for costume fee (usually $65)). Upcoming productions are "The Sound of Music" and "Bye Bye Birdie"
Met2 produces full Broadway style musicals at some of the Los Angeles area's finest theatres. With age-appropriate casting and a developmental approach to working with children, the program strives to help each child reach their full potential. With programs in the San Fernando Valley, the South Bay, the East San Gabriel Valley and Northern San Diego County, Met2 also offers interested cast members the opportunity to perform in many theatres. This past season, Met2 performed "Seussical the Musical" at the Valley Performing Arts Center on the campus of CSUN (performing for more than 8000 patrons); "Big River" at the Haugh Performing Arts Center and the James Armstrong Theatre, "Annie" at the Plaza Del Sol Theatre; "The Sound of Music" in San Diego Couny and "Oliver" in all four programs.
