The Princeton Arts Council presents Andrea Brachfield and Phoenix Rising:
The third concert in the series "Sound Bites," flutist Andrea Brachfeld, a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, has played and recorded with the top artists of Latin Jazz and Latin music and has five CD's out as a leader. Her breakthrough performance as the flutist for the popular Latin band Charanga '76, catapulted her into Salsa history and fame as the first female flutist to play this music in the United States. “Sound Bites” features local/regional musicians with refreshments available from small world coffee.
The concert will be held in Solley Theater at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ, at 8 pm on Friday, June 22, 2012.
