Item Description

Easkoot Pinot Noir hails from the slopes of the Chileno Valley Vineyard in Marin County's Petaluma Gap. Located just six miles from the Pacific Ocean, layers of fog blanket the vines at night, lending acidity, robust tannin structure and cool fruit character. It has been THE by-the-glass Pinot Noir pour at The Slanted Door for two vintages now, as well as being featured on other top restuarant wine lists such as Chez Panisse and Cavallo Point,  and always sells out...

Along with the bottle of Easkoot in this auction are two bottles of Foggy Bottom Pinot Noir- this is the "entry-level" Pinot Noir from Easkoot Cellars, and is at too many local retail shops and restaurants to name.

And who or what is or was Easkoot? Alfred Derby Easkoot was Marin County's first land surveyor, and this wine comes to you crafted by a couple of your own RSVD parents.
