A one-hour, private guided tour by a member of the MFA's Education Department staff for up to 6 people (can be children and adults) of the special exhibition "Alex Katz Prints," open April 28-June 29th, 2012.
This special exhibition of 125 works by legendary American artist, Alex Katz, is a survey of his expansive and prolific career from the 1960's to the present, including prints made as recently as Spring 2012. The show includes portraits, scenes of sophisticated leisure, and landscapes. The show contains examples of prints, aluminum cut-outs and illustrated books. Experience close-looking, discussion, and insider tidbits about the artworks, attainable only with an Education Department staff member as your guide!
