Item Description
Susanne Suba (1913-2012) was the daughter of Hungarian Precisionist artist Miklos Suba. She was born in Hungary but spent most of her life in New York where she was a successful independent artist and illustrator. As well as numerous book illustrations she was for almost 30 years a regular "spot" and front cover illustrator for The New Yorker.
These pen and ink drawings are on tracing paper (one is clearly wrinkled)
