Item Description
One of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of the Berkshires is to hike to a higher elevation. Jim Czarnecki with Taking Shape will guide you and a friend on a hiking excursion into Pittsfield State Forest. You and your friend will hike to Berry Pond (the highest natural body of water in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts). Berry Pond is a very pristine body of water located near the top of the state forest. The hike itself is approximately five miles and should take around 2 hours to complete. Many travelers have driven to Berry Pond, but not too many have hiked it under their own power. A healthy lunch will be provided.
Taking Shape via Indoor/Outdoor Fitness is all about helping people realize their fitness goals via in-home personal training and exploring the beauty of the Berkshires via guided outdoor excursions (hiking, biking, kayaking, and snowshoeing). If you're looking to improve or maintain your fitness level or simply want to get out and enjoy the sights and sounds of Mother Nature, Taking Shape can help you get there.
Item Special Note
Advance reservation is required, based on availability.
