Item Description
Hand-cast and hand-spun 8 ounce pewter cup, of the kind traditionally used for a little parting drink by mounted hunters but handy for anytime! Early examples date to the 18th century, the most popular of which was in the shape of a fox's head, with the fur realistically represented and just the right size for holding in the hand. From Tennessee Pewter, Somerville, TN, the South's only pewter crafting company. A rare delight!
Item Special Note
