Item Description

Portrait of an enslaved brick worker in India

This signed 2’ by 3’ portrait of a 9-year-old girl, who is forced to work at a brick kiln in India, crystallizes the urgent human rights message of the seminal documentary Stolen Childhoods.

Signed and dated by U. Roberto (Robin) Romano, of Dateline fame, the renowned photographer and filmmaker behind the film, this image is a captivating reminder of the hardships faced by child laborers around the world.

Robin has served as an advisor to Interlock Media, and his photographs are found in private collections in Europe and the United States. His latest human rights blockbuster is called “The Dark Side of Chocolate”.
