Ever wonder what it takes for a dog to become a therapy dog? What tasks they perform and the effect they have on their patients? Want to know if your dog can become a therapy dog too? Then this is the perfect thing for you.
Zac the therapy dog works at Summerlin Hospital twice a week with his owner Michael Weisbein. The winner of this package will do the following:
- Have lunch at the hospital with Zac and his owner. The winner can bring their spouse and/or children.
- At lunch you'll be informed about what a therapy dog is and what they do
- You'll also be informed on why Zac became a therapy dog and why he is also a service animal
- You'll be informed on how your dog can become a therapy dog. As well as how you can become a volunteer at Summerlin Hospital.
- You'll be able to watch Zac when he is working in the lobby/general areas
