Kirk Mangus was resident of the Clay Studio in Philadelphia for two years and at the Archie Bray Foundation, and has received an NEA Fellowship, four Ohio Arts Council Fellowships, a Pennsylvania Council for the Arts Fellowship and a McKnight Fellowship. He has been Head of Ceramics at Kent State University since 1985.
