Are you going on vacation this summer? Well man’s best friend deserves a vacation too, so why not make a bid on a one-week Vacation Getaway for your furry friend at Tippin Rock Pet Lodge in nearby Groton, CT?
Tippin Rock is your pet’s vacation getaway and they want to make sure that your dog enjoys all the comforts of home and then some!
Some dogs love being indoors, while others thrive on the fresh country air, so they have set up each kennel with its own private patio, thus giving your dog the freedom to be inside or out. Of course safety comes first and they will make sure all dogs are inside for their safety in extreme weather conditions.
In the interior part of your dog’s private kennel, they will enjoy the warmth of the heated Duraflex floors, climate controlled atmosphere and piped-in stereo music. They serve 2 meals a day of Iams or Eukanuba. But, if your pet is on a more preferred food or special diet, please provide their own food in a container marked with first and last name instructions on feeding. As a special treat, all pets receive a cookie before bedtime while staff is placing down their bedding.
Playtimes:
Let face it one of the best parts of vacation is the playtime and Tippin Rock wants to make sure that your pets get plenty of it during their two play sessions per day in one of five large fenced in areas. During the summer months, your water-loving dogs can also enjoy the specially designed pool.
Health & Safety
The facilities are sanitized daily and for safety and have both a security and fire/smoke system. In the rare cases of a dog not feeling to well or an unforeseen injury, there is a veterinarian on a 24 hour call.
Item Special Note
Shots required: Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella (Current or 14 days prior).
Dogs may be brought in at anytime during normal business hours. We suggest an early arrival to get acquainted. Reservations are recommended. Inspection is invited anytime during lodging hours.
