Item Description

This elephant poster is a print from Bela Fidel’s Endangered/Exploited Species Series.  This series of work conveys they slow and cruel extermination of animals that are being poached, killed for parts, tortured in laboratories, decimated for sport and losing their habitats due to the expansion of human settlements in disrespect for wildlife’s territories.  In each painting, Bela aims to tshow the nobility of the animal when left alone in its environment and natural functions within its species.  Her goal is to raise awareness on the decimation of our natural animals work and its inevitable effect on our own lives and environment while conveying a deep love and respect for animals in general.  The poster measures 32” by 22” and is printed in high-quality paper.  The poster comes unframed. Bela Fidel creates visual excitement in her paintings by combining geometric imagery that is rooted in the mystical/occult teachings, with brush strokes that typify expressive abstract painting.  Beneath the swirl of seemingly chaotic cosmos, the view will discover a sense of order and purpose.  There is always an emotional pull that is created by the tension between the abstract shapes and the geometric figures.
