Tesserae: stained glass, millefiori, seed beads, gem stone beads, glitter and photograph (mulberry tree leaves)
"I chose the Bombyx mori moth (latin for silkworm of the mulberry tree) because it is used in traditional Chinese medicine to heal. So I thought it was fitting for this charity auction."
I am inspired by the flowers, plants and creatures that Mother Nature has produced. I am fascinated with all the variety of colors and shapes they come in. I use stained glass, beads, millefiori, and photography to create vibrant and colorful mosaics of my interpretation of these creatures found in the natural world.
