Item Description
Collect a part of American Radio History with this Wonderful Cinnamon Bear!
It all started with a 1937 radio serial, created by Glanville and Elizabeth Heish, the kind they don't make anymore. Funny, though, how this particular one has endured, for here we are, 70 years later, with our tribute to 'The Cinnamon Bear,' a true classic that has a special place in the hearts of those who live in the Northwest, where it is perhaps best remembered the history of the Portland Spirit and the Cinnamon Bear.
The series was specifically designed to be listened to six days a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was first broadcast between Friday, November 26 and Saturday December 25, 1937. Some markets like Portland, Oregon jumped the gun, debuting the program on November 25, Thanksgiving Day.
This collector's Cinnamon Bear is the 1998 Teddy Bear of the Year Nominee with Certificate of Authenticity, would make the day of any bear lover.
