Item Special Note
CSA stands for “community-supported agriculture.” A CSA is a community of individual or family members who support a farm operation, with the farmer and the consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.
Members buy their shares in advance, which helps cover the farmer’s anticipated costs of the seeds, soil amendments, labor, etc. In return, once a week the members get a share of that week’s harvest, whatever it may be.
Joining a CSA is wonderful way to connect with the wisdom and healing benefits of eating in harmony with the seasons, and support the environment and small farmers. We grow all of our produce in an organic manner, doing our best to leave the soil enriched.
