About the Author:

Derel Twombly is a graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre, has attended Massachusetts College of Art and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. She has been a Massachusetts certified riding instructor since she was in her teens and is the CEO of Ponies for Parties, a company based south of Boston. She is also a certified with the Department of Education in Massachusetts to teach in the field of Animal Science and is currently doing so at the high school level.
