Beaded fused handmade glass pieces that are reversible from the fused glass side to a complexly beaded side. Between these pieces are handmade glass beads that complement the beadwork.

Jo Ann Baumann, a respected seed bead artist, exhibits locally and nationally. Her work is displayed as part of a permanent exhibition at the Illinois State Museum. Jo Ann has be featured in thirteen different publications including “Masters of Beadweaving” a collection of work by outstanding contemporary bead artists, and has three pieces in the latest Lark book publication “ Showcase: 500 Beaded Jewelry” due out in August 2012.
Jo Ann transforms traditional off loom beadwork technique into exciting, innovative personal expressions. Using a combination of vibrant colors, sizes, and shapes of tiny seed beads, she creates three-dimensional sculptural jewelry. She often incorporates her own torch formed glass beads into these creations. As an impressionist designer, Jo Ann combines color and texture using a variety of techniques to create pieces that communicate what is in her imagination. She lets the magic and the seductiveness of the beads fulfill the vision of her inspiration.
