Item Description

Carcharodon Megalodon Shark Tooth
Whaler's Locker

Carcharodon megalodon, a giant ancestor of today's great white shark, had jaws large enough to swallow a person whole.  It's huge teeth, like the great white's, were serrated like steak knives.  It could cut through skin, muscle and bone with the ease of a laser.

This polished specimen of this prehistoric fossilized shark's tooth measures approximately 5" in length and is approximately 10 million years old. This fossil was found in the Peace River in Florida.

 This item comes with:

  • Megalodon Shark Tooth
  • Informational Pamphlet

Whaler's Locker is located at 780 Front Street in Lahaina.
