Item Description
Enjoy a three-night stay at the Shooting Star Drive-In Resort, located just west of Escalante on Scenic Byway 12 in the heart of Southern Utah canyon country between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The Shooting Star Drive-In is a Hollywood-themed Resort featuring Airstreams as accommodations and a Drive-In Movie Theater filled with classic 1960s convertibles.
Each Airstream is decorated as if it was the dressing trailer of a Hollywood movie star while they were shooting on location, and furnished with star-quality appointments, a fully-equipped kitchen and a propane barbecue out on your own private deck. Continental breakfast is delivered, along with a dozen white chocolate Macadamia nut cookies.
When the sun goes down, the tops drop on the vintage 1960s convertibles parked in the Drive-In and the big screen lights up with vintage cartoons, cliff-hangers and movies from the ‘40s ‘50s & ‘60s. The Drive-In Snack Shack serves up gourmet pizzas, Paninis, hot buttered popcorn, loads of candy, ice cream treats and soda pop for your movie enjoyment pleasure. Pick your favorite convertible, hop in and enjoy the show.
Activities in the area include Guided Horseback Rides, Guided Slot Canyon Excursions, ATV & 4WD GPS Excursions, Hikes and Scenic Drives.
