Item Description
Bear Description:
Patches is a spokesbear for upcycling, which is the process of transforming discarded “waste” materials into something new and useful. She even has the word “UPCYCLE” printed on her back! The rest of her body is covered in brightly colored square patches that are made of old t-shirts. While the first thing you may notice about Patches is her rainbow palette, the second thing you’ll spy is the sweet little doll whose holding on tight to her neck. This bear is a two for one! Sure to delight the young and the young at heart, Patches wants to be your friend.
Artist Bio:
Søren Mason Temple learned to speak in art when she lost her voice. Her life's mission is to create a serenely wild world of joy and color. By magically combining discarded objects with yarn, paint, fabric and beads she conjures up living dolls, magical talismans, and peaceful sanctuaries.
